It is my pleasure to announce the 2011 «Innovations in CardioThoracic Radiology» meeting wich will be held in Tokuda Hospital Sofia on 13 and 14 May 2011.
«Innovations in Cardiac Imaging», has become the largest subspecialized radiology meeting in terms of attendance and quality of presentations. In the last two years it was very well attended and a great success with more than 150 participants.
This year the meeting will be organized officially by the Bulgarian Society of CardioThoracic Radiology with the ambition to become an annual event of the Society. Endosed by the Bulgarian Association of Radiology and the European Society of Cardiac Radiology its mission is to promote excellence in imaging diagnosis, education, research and technical developments in the field of cardiac and thoracic imaging. «Innovations in Cardiothoracic Radiology» will be targeted on radiologists and clinicians interested in cardiothoracic imaging and treatment. Several foreign and many Bulgarian speakers will present state-of-the-art lectures.
Build on the well known format this year the meeting will provide a summary of the basic knowleadge on anatomy, physiology and cardiopulmonary interaction. This core knowleadge will be integrated by advanced topics dedicated to the new modalities and techniques of imaging examination. At the end case presentation session will be designed to highlight difficult clinical cases whose goal will be to demonstrate the interaction between radiologists and clinicians in their daily work.
Welcome in Sofia for the 2011 «Innovations in CardioThoracic Radiology» meeting!
